Overhang Testby ~AngelAsylum

Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Scenes / Landscapes

Done in Terragen 2 and postworked in Photoshop CS2.

Testing out the strata and overhang and the twist and shear shaders. TG2 has some really usefull new features, now if only they'd finish making it.

Lol, now what Terragen 2 artist dosn't have an overhang scene in their gallery ! I agree with you in that they seem to be procrastinating the release of the final version...I don't wanna get it until the final comes out, which apparently is easier to use and renders faster too...Which is most important as those volumetric clouds are to die for, These clouds here [link] are the best clouds I've seen rendered in any 3D application.

I cant wait for faster renders, I have a pretty fast computer with plenty of memory and some of my renders can take days.

Great sunset colors and a nice terrain as well.

I'm going to have to re-read MeltingIce's tutorial on overhangs, since I never got around to doing any.
